Salman Khan is a popular Indian film actor, producer, and television personality, born on December 27, 1965, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. He is one of the most successful and influential actors in the Indian film industry, also known as Bollywood.

Early Life: Salman Khan's father, Salim Khan, is a well-known screenwriter in Bollywood, and his mother's name is Sushila Charak, who later changed her name to Salma Khan after marriage. Salman Khan has two brothers, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan, and two sisters, Alvira Khan Agnihotri and Arpita Khan.


Salman Khan spent most of his childhood in Mumbai, where he attended St. Stanislaus High School. However, he dropped out of school in his second year of college to pursue a career in acting.

Career: Salman Khan began his acting career with a small role in the film Biwi Ho To Aisi in 1988, but his breakthrough role came with the romantic drama Maine Pyar Kiya in 1989, which was a massive commercial success. He went on to star in several successful films in the 1990s, including Karan Arjun, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, Karan Arjun, and Hum Saath Saath Hain.

In the 2000s, Salman Khan starred in several successful films, including Tere Naam, Baghban, Wanted, Dabangg, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan, and Tiger Zinda Hai. He is known for his roles in action and romantic films.

Salman Khan is also a successful television personality and has hosted several seasons of the popular reality TV show Bigg Boss. He has also produced several films under his production banner, Salman Khan Films.

Personal Life: Salman Khan has been in the news for his personal life as well. He was in a long-term relationship with actress Aishwarya Rai, but the two broke up in 2002. He was also in a relationship with actress Katrina Kaif, but they broke up in 2010. Salman Khan is known for his philanthropic work and has founded the charitable organization Being Human Foundation.

Legal Issues: Salman Khan has also been involved in several legal controversies throughout his career. In 1998, he was charged with hunting and killing two blackbucks in Rajasthan during the filming of the movie Hum Saath Saath Hain. In 2002, he was involved in a hit-and-run case in Mumbai, where he was accused of driving under the influence of alcohol and running over people sleeping on the pavement, which resulted in the death of one person. He was acquitted in 2016. In 2018, he was convicted and sentenced to five years in jail for killing two blackbucks, but he was granted bail pending appeal.
